Taxis are a great and relatively inexpensive way to travel around Panama. As all taxis in Panama are unmetered, ask your hotel what your journey should cost before getting into the taxi so you can negotiate properly. You can order a cab from your hotel or use the Uber app to order a cab. Alternatively, the Panama Metro is an easy and very inexpensive way to get you from A to B. February in Panama is nice and warm! Expect very warm, sunny days and pleasantly warm evenings. Please check weather predictions, especially if you are travelling from abroad.
Spanish is the official and most widely spoken language of Panama. That being said, many Panamanians speak English so getting by with English only should not be a problem.
